Approve an identified garment sample against a named specification version. Record the included garments, agreed material and color references, measurement method, artwork, labels, packaging and open changes. These eight TUOYI references show why a T-shirt, cap, jacket and coordinated-set brief need different review points. The 25-point worksheet helps you record those decisions; it does not establish that a sample has been made, approved or tested. Which sample and specification version are being approved?
Record the buyer project, listing ID, sample ID and agreed sample type, specification or tech-pack version, sample size and review date. Name the artwork files and any change-log reference. If a fabric, measurement, component or artwork file changes, identify the revised version and ask which sample or written confirmation is needed. A product photograph or an old file name alone does not identify the sample approved for a new quotation.
What changes between one garment and a coordinated-set reference?
List every garment or component you expect to receive and identify each one in the sample record. For the quarter-zip top / pants reference, confirm the intended included garments, material for each component, measurements and quotation unit. Approving a top does not approve an unreviewed pair of pants, and a website quantity of 10 pieces does not by itself define how many complete outfits are included. Retain open decisions for each component.
How should materials, measurements and construction be checked?
Use the individual reference and its source date as the starting point, then ask for the complete specification. The selected set and jacket have composition to confirm; their GSM, plus that of the selected pants and cap, remains unconfirmed. Record the agreed measurement points, units, measuring method, sample condition, targets and project-specific tolerances before reviewing actual observations. Check relevant seams, closures, pockets, cuffs or hat fit against that brief. No universal tolerance, size chart, fiber test or performance result is established here.
How do artwork, labels and packaging stay tied to the sample?
Record the exact artwork version, finished dimensions, position against a named garment reference point, and the proposed decoration process. Compare label text, dimensions and position, hangtags and packaging with their agreed versions. Product names, example graphics and the color-change jacket reference are not proof of decoration durability, color-change performance or a passed test. If testing or inspection evidence is required, state its scope and responsible party and request the relevant documentation for your project.
What happens to requested changes or partial approvals?
For each review point, record the target, actual observation, outcome, action owner and review date. Keep unresolved items Open or record the requested change instead of approving the entire sample. State the scope and exceptions of any partial approval, including which sizes or components were reviewed. Link a replacement or revised sample to the change log and the agreed specification so an older approval cannot silently stand for a changed design.
Does sample approval complete the bulk-order agreement?
No. Identify the approved sample and specification in the written quotation, then confirm its included garments, quantity unit, pieces per color and size, custom minimums, unit-price basis, development or setup charges, production timing, destination and shipping terms. Website MOQ was confirmed by TUOYI as 10 pieces on 24 October 2026; it does not settle every color or custom process. Record any remaining exception and required evidence before agreeing the bulk order.
